Using my primary resources as ideas for sculpture ideas

 

I want to create the idea of flowers and the other objects that i have resourced to create sculptures and i looked at different ways of manipulating the paper to create different shapes.

 

These are presentations of the cactus i have researched, i found creating a similar shape to a cactus was really hard as the paper was hard to bend into so many and stay folded.

I think as inspiration these flowers are really intersting , i love water flowers as they have there own base which is really interesting, the base leaves can them selves be interesting and the flowers and colours them self has such warmth and character they would translate into sculptutres really well.
